Wine handling

The wine handling process requires great care due to the particular delicacy needed to avoid altering its organoleptic properties, as well as to ensure optimal flow control and the correct management of any compounds added to it.

By using the ACME peristaltic pump, the transfer of this liquid causes no physiological alteration of the liquid part and no aeration or contamination of the mass, since the process takes place in a gentle and non-traumatic way, keeping the aromas intact and allowing a more complete and homogeneous color extraction.

Wine handling

The percentage of lees resulting is very low, about 1/3 compared to normal, since this gentle pumping does not cause breakage of the skins.

Barrique filling

Racking and bottling
In bottling plants, the ACME peristaltic pump can feed the filler in a gentle and proportional way to the required demand: the inverter, by modulating the flow rate without pressure fluctuations and according to the analog signal received from the filler, eliminates the need for harmful bypasses and recirculation systems.

Dosing of adjuvants and enzymes
ACME peristaltic pumps can dose enzymes, bentonite, glycerin, gum arabic, and silica sol with high precision, thus allowing for greater efficiency in the treatment of various products; this ensures increased operability, durability, and abrasion resistance compared to other pump types.
