Water sanitation

The sanitization of water is a delicate and complex process, due to the various elements involved, the machinery used, and the range of substances generated during this process, which could compromise pump performance if they affect the system.

ACME peristaltic pumps provide an optimal response to these different requirements, as they are extremely effective in the pumping of sludge containing organic, biological, and chemical waste as well as solid suspensions, thus easily transferring even viscous fluids that would be impossible to move with other types of pumps.

Moreover, since the product is handled through a rubber hose, avoiding any direct contact between the fluid and the pump, it ensures a higher quality of the finished product, as it is protected from any contamination with the machinery itself.

Finally, the gases that can be generated during transfer, such as sodium hypochlorite, do not affect the efficiency of the pump despite the formation of a gaseous phase; thus, the ACME peristaltic pump proves to be ideal both for flocculants intended for the domestic market and for much more dense and viscous flocculants destined for European markets (Germany, France, etc.).

The reliability of ACME peristaltic pumps has always been a key feature, consisting in the impossibility of occlusions or blockages, greater resistance to wear and abrasion compared to other types of pumps, and overall ease of operation, characterized by low maintenance limited solely to hose replacement.
